StayTuned.io offers an audio player solution to PUBLISHERS. Audio content creation, hosting and management processes take place in a dedicated platform (the CMS) while the PLAYER allows users to consume and interact with audio content on publishers' website or mobile application.
StayTuned.io can collect information about users when browsing its websites or using its services.
Data We Collect About You
We collect information about you when you use our services. In addition, third parties may collect information about you when you use our services. Collected information may include or reflect personal information that could identify you, as well as non-personal information. We refer to your information as "your data".
Information You Provide to US
We may collect Personal Information from you in the following cases:
- Account Creation: When creating an account for CMS access or through the PLAYER you must provide a valid email address, your first name and last name.
- Financial Information: To make a purchase, you may need to provide a valid payment method (e.g., credit card or PayPal account). Your payment information will be collected and processed by our authorized payment vendors. We do not directly collect or store credit or debit card numbers ourselves in the ordinary course of processing transactions. If we allow purchase through a third-party platform (i.e. in-app purchase), the payment method stored with the third-party platform will be charged.
- Capture Forms: You may submit information through a capture form set up by StayTuned.io on one of its websites or set up by a publisher on its audio contents. This information will be received by both StayTuned.io and the audio publisher and is subject to both StayTuned.io's Privacy Policy as well as the publisher's privacy policy.
Automatically-Collected Information when using the PLAYER
When you interact with the PLAYER on any publisher's website or application we automatically collect certain types of data, regardless of whether you have an account.
This data includes:
- technical information about your device (e.g., browser type, operating system, basic device information)
- information about how audio content are consumed through the player (played contents, day, time, listening duration, etc.)
When you use the PLAYER on a publisher's website StayTuned will allocate you an anonymized unique identifier. This identifier is stored in your browser local storage. You can delete it by deleting your browser history.
Automatically-Collected Information when visiting websites belonging to StayTuned.io
Each time you visit a website that StayTuned.io owns, we collect information about your browsing behavior. We may use “cookies” which are small text files that are stored in your web browser and that allow StayTuned.io or a third party to recognize you using a unique identifier.

How we use your Data
Processing that StayTuned.io needs in order to operate PLAYER services
Data we collect when a user uses the PLAYER on a website allow us to:
- Measure content performance that users consume and interact with
- Optimize loading speed when a user wants to access a content previously launched (content caching)
- Set a capping to limit exposure to a same content for a given user
- Enable users to resume playback on a content they have started to listen before
